The Company is pleased to announce that a new domestic customer has been secured for copper concentrate production from the Redbank Copper Mine in the Northern Territory.
The Company has commenced deliveries of copper concentrate to Adchem (Australia) Pty Ltd, a chemical manufacturer and exporter based in South Australia. An initial delivery generating revenue of approximately $200,000 net of treatment and other charges has been completed. Sales are expected to increase in line with production over the next twelve months.
New Oxides under Leach
New high-grade material is being added to the leaching circuit via the establishment of a new leaching vat containing approximately 9,000 tonnes of high-grade ore. This is expected to come on-line in mid September. In addition, an existing leach vat is to be replenished with fresh high-grade material from the stockpiles and expected to come on line by the end of September.
These new areas under leach are expected to make a rapid contribution to increased copper production at the Redbank Mine.
